• R Swain specialises in a wide variety of movements.
• The Swain fleet of trailers and rigids includes curtain siders, standard flats, low loaders, stepframes, extenders, hiab cranes and coilers.
• Wide, high and most abnormal loads can be accommodated.
• Vehicles range from vans to 44 tonne trucks.
• R Swain customers range from an individual requiring a one-off movement to contract services moving thousands of tonnes a year.

Continental

• Continental services are provided via an extensive network of partners and contacts throughout Europe.
• R Swain & Sons provides accompanied and unaccompanied services for any type of movement. The main focus is on near European destinations

The Swain Team

• As the Group's most important asset, all Swain staff receive a balanced and continuous programme of practical and theoretical training.
• As part of this programme the Group's vastly experienced management team, warehousemen and drivers constantly contribute their knowledge built over many years in the general haulage industry.
• Each site has a driver trainer / assessor. This is backed by regular Health & Safety upgrades and initiatives created and implemented by an in house Health & Safety champion.

IT Systems

• All Swain depots employ the same HaulMark Traffic Management system. This integrates directly into many larger customer systems.
