R Swain & Sons Limited operates a 24 hr on site commercial workshop facility at Rochester, Burton-on-Trent and Manchester

This provides essential support services to the group transport function, ensuring efficient use of every Swain vehicle and trailer.

Equally important, this service is also available to third party vehicle and trailer operators and comprises:

• Service inspections to Department for Transport VOSA standards.
• Repairs to commercial vehicles and trailers from vans to 44 tonne trucks.
• Mobile servicing.
• MOT preparation and presentation.
• Steam cleaning.
• Minor and/or major body repairs.

Sheet Services
The Rochester workshop has a specialist tarpaulin sheet and curtain repairs department offering:

• Production of tarpaulin, canvas or plastic sheets to standard or customised design specifications.
• Repairs to sheets.
• Repairs to curtain siders at Rochester or customer premises.
